"We're dropping," Cathy said. "Why are we dropping?"
"I think we're okay," Abby said. "We're not dropping fast."
They got to within a foot of the surface, and the silver cage they rode in dissolved into the Arctic air.
They dropped the rest of the way to the ice.
No problem.
No one even slipped.
"Why'd she let us go?" Alison asked.
"Her mind's somewhere else," Abby replied, indicating the titans above them with a nod of her head.
