Then, it was like another barn door opened on the other side of the cavern.
And through this door emerged what looked to be a starship.
A small starship, a starship the size of a helicopter.
It glittered like a gem.
An azure attack force had arrived.
The soldiers didn't appear immediately. First, the starship took out a dozen algrim all by itself. The starship became all rayguns for about thirty seconds there.
After that, fifty Azure soldiers flooded into the cavern through an invisible door.
Armed to the teeth.
And the algrim and Azure soldiers went at it, some on the ground, others above everyone's heads.
The air filled with the sound of zzzapping rayguns and projectiles being fired and explosives detonating and the screams and grunts of the hurt and the maimed and the dying.
