Trevor rolled to his feet, then had to do a bit of a dance to keep from running into or getting run into by anyone who surrounded him.

     "Back away!" one of the guys in sunglasses shouted as they sprinted into the lobby, all eight of them. They created a perimeter around where the woman yelled. One of them helped her to her feet to walk her away from the now closed circle.

​     "Stun."

​     Two of the men dropped unconscious to the floor.

     Niki did that.

     Floating above everyone's head on her anti-grav sneakers, Niki utilized that new wrist weapon the Azure had implanted in her and Trevor.

     The rope. The string. The line.

​     Okay. Okay. The friggin' web.

     It had other uses besides as a rope.

     It could be used as sort of a Taser.

     She activated that part of the line with the word "stun". 

​     She could also activate it with the word "kill", but that was a whole different story.

     Two wrists. Two lines. Two guys knocked out.

     "Everyone out!" one of the guards yelled. "They're invisible, and one of them can..."

     "Stun," Trevor said. He got the guy in the shoulder with his own Taser line.

     The guy dropped like a trout.

     The other five guys in sunglasses went in five different directions. They moved quick, and they never dashed in the same direction for more than a couple paces. They were both on the hunt and trying to keep from getting hit by any Tasers.

     Both Trevor and Niki went for the exit.

​     "Stun" Trevor on the ground. "Stun."

     "Stun." Niki above everyone's heads. "Stun."

     Outside, beyond the walls of the courthouse, Trevor heard nothing but sirens and saw nothing but blue lights. Then,
