I discovered science fiction and read hundreds of SF novels and short stories. My inner imaginative universe now whirled constantly with fun and wild characters and ideas and action sequences. Two major narrative epics formed inside of me over most of my twenties and half my thirties. One was a science fiction epic that began in my mind as a trilogy, but, as time passed, became a decalogy. The other was my version of, what I called, the Marvel Wars, pitting every single Marvel hero against every Marvel villain. I searched for source material for my ever-growing inner imaginative universe in my every perception, my every personal experience, in everything I witnessed and everything that touched me.
