That complex?

     That dummy apartment complex Gramps and his family lived under?

     That complex surrounded by drones?

     That complex detonated in an interesting way.

     At first, it exploded as a grenade might.

     A grenade three stories high. 

     The explosion took out every single one of the drones. 

     Then, 

​     Just like that.

     All of it, all that had exploded, retracted back into the space where the warehouse had originally been. 

     Got that? 

     One moment, the three story building exploded. 

     The next moment, it retracted again...

     into a lump the size of a one-bedroom house.

     Not a single civilian got hurt.
