​     WHAM! 

     To the naked eye, the ray from Janet's underside hitting the continent of Naturia looked something like this: 

​     Say you cover a table with a table cloth, then slap the table hard enough to rattle it. 

     Now imagine the table cloth rising up slightly upon impact before settling back down again.

     That's pretty much how the entire continent of Naturia looked as the ray hit it, like that table cloth...

     only this particular table cloth had hundreds of thousands of people living on it.

     Immediately afterward, the continent began to change color. 

​     Before, one could describe Naturia as being, for the most part, a green to light brown color.

     Then, from where the ray hit the continent, then radiating out, the color of the continent turned a darker green, as well as a brown that became almost black.

​     WHAM!
