One thing about the Azure: the weapons they gave Niki and Trevor to train with were top notch. When they turned invisible, for instance, they really couldn't be detected by any device, by sonar or radar or whatever.

​     It wasn't long before they lost the drones.

     Trevor felt Niki's elbow pressed against his as they went beyond the city and out over Puget Bay. 

​     They stopped.

     They stopped and got a good, hard look at Seatrailia, at the city they'd grown up in and had lived in all their lives until the day the Azure selected them for service.

     "What in the hell happened here?" Trevor asked. "This place doesn't feel like the Seatrailia I know at all. Did the Azure throw us into some alternate dimension or..."

     "I don't think that's it," Niki muttered. "We've got to find Adam Forwarder."
