​     Niki didn't get it at first. 

     She'd never met any member of Trevor's family. 

​     But then...

     "That your brother?" 

     "Yep." 

     "Just when I'd convinced myself I wasn't going insane."

     "I know you're out there, Trevor," Cole said. "Our drones caught you on camera." 

     "​Our drones?" Trevor muttered. "Who's us, brother?" 

     "I don't know where you've been for the last four years, except that it was nowhere on Earth, and I don't know what you know or don't know about what's going on." 

​     "I know fuck," Trevor replied to the screen.

     "Dad's dead," Cole said. "He died in February. Not of any particular thing. He'd been falling apart for years. I tended to him the entire time. Show yourself. Don't you, at least, want to know how I can talk to you from every screen in Seatrailia?"

     "I'm sick of this prick," Niki said. "Let's beat it."

     "Where are we going?" Trevor asked. "You keep saying you want to find Adam Forwarder. Okay, so how do we do that?"

     "You can't possibly be thinking of turning yourself in." 

     "We're in Bizarre-land here, Niki."

     "Which is exactly why we need to stay cautious."

     "I'm sending a hovercraft to where you were last spotted," Cole said. 

     "Good luck with that," Niki said. "We are miles away." 

     "I will, personally, be aboard," Cole said. "We've got cold beer. If you're hungry, we've got sandwiches." 

​     "I am hungry, too," Trevor said. 

​     "You're always hungry," Niki said. 

     "You know anybody in Seatrailia we could go see, hide out for an hour or two, get on somebody's computer?" 

​     "Nobody."

     "Me neither, now that I know Dad's dead."

     "I'm trying to protect you," Cole said. "You have no idea how much the people of Seatrailia hate you, Trevor. It's not just because of the murder thing, although that's part of it. The millions of people killed. You all trying to kill Mother Naturia last year."

     "I know where we can find a computer," Niki said. "Phones are computers, right? We need to find a place where there are people day and night."

     "All night diner?" 

     "Give me an address." 

     "Bus station?"

     "Even the bus stations close after a certain time of night."

​     "What are you thinking?"

​     "The airport?"
