Adam had this whole Domitikan universe thing figured out now.
The stronger your will, the more you could, literally, create the universe around you.
Which was why the universe was in constant change.
And Adam had the strongest will of anyone he knew or had ever met in his long, long life.
Okay, let's see how far I can take this thing, he thought.
You know what'd be great right now? he asked himself.
It'd be great to be a giant.
A really, really big giant.
We willed himself to grow.
He grew to become the size of a tree, a house, a skyscraper, the sky.
His attackers became as insects to him. They struck at his heels and knees and abdomen and arms with their tiny missiles and swords.
Adam took a single step.
That took him halfway to his destination.
He went to take a second step when...
the thousands of adversaries on his legs and torso dropped away to join their allies at Adam's feet. Then, this army converged, blended together to become a single entity. The entity rose to become the size of Adam himself. Adam willed himself to expand.
His adversary did the same.
"You aren't welcome here," it said.
"So?"
Adam willed the energy of the universe into his being until he became a sizable part of that universe.
And then he willed all of that energy into a force blast to obliterate his opponent.
The blast ripped his adversary into billions of pieces, and those pieces became warriors and beasts and warships and planets and stars which then, in turn, dissolved into nothingness.
His adversaries, all those who opposed him, for the moment, were vanquished.
Adam returned to human size.
He took one last step.
He had, at last, reached his destination.
"Myanna," he said.
"Welcome to Domitika, Adam," she said, then kissed him full on the lips.
