Adama's battle station.
"Tell me why this station's able to withstand this attack," Adam said.
"It can't. It's constant war."
"But you're not coming apart."
"I know how to defend myself."
"That's what I'm saying. That's what I need to know. I need to know how to defend myself."
"I've been here a while."
"How long? How long have you been here?"
"Time has..."
"Who are you?"
"I am Adam Adama."
"You are not an Adam. Only men can..."

"How can I help?" Adam asked.
"Shut up and stand still."
She was good. Adam had to give her that. Her cruisers were like a swarm of bees in battle to protect their hive while surrounded by multitudes of other bees.
"Kind of like a video game, huh?" Adam asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"Forget it. Forget I said anything."
"It's far more...Aargghh!"
The sky suddenly filled with red flame.
It burned through Adama's cruisers like water through tissue. Adama had just enough time to let out that, "Aargghh!", before the red flame slammed into her personal battle cruiser. Adam felt its immense heat and then he saw it, saw the red flame, not as an image on a monitor but before his very eyes.
It filled the war room, this red flame, filled his vision until...until...
