Damn! Damn! What had just happened ran counter to every fantasy Axel'd ever had about being the Silver Scorpion. In his fantasies, in those weeks and months he'd rested paralyzed, Alacran never got seriously challenged. One adversary or a hundred, in his fantasies, Alacran had always beaten them back mercilessly until they either fled or begged for their miserable, pathetic lives. And here someone knocked him completely off his feet, even if that someone was the incredible Adam Forwarder? Adam actually pounded on his face like he wasn't the Silver Scorpion at all but still just Axel Clemons, wimpy nobody?

"I'LL DESTROY YOU ALL! I'LL BEND YOU AND TWIST YOU AND..."

And here came Livia's security people, at last, a half dozen well built men, weapons drawn. They didn't fire on Alacran, they didn't want any stray bullets hitting any of the party-goers still left, so they fired Taser darts instead. An idiotic thing to do. Alacran was clad head to toe in armor, for crap's sake. For all they knew, he wasn't even human but an artificial construct like all the other robots there that night. Yet they hit him with Tasers.

"Everyone out of here!" the team leader yelled to whatever partygoers hadn't yet scrammed. The security people wanted to go at Alacran with their handguns and semi-automatics, only Alacran wasn't about to give them a chance. He rushed the three men in front of him, wailing on them with his fists and tail. One guard dropped immediately. That's how quickly the toxin worked on a normal human being. Alacran smacked a security guard in the shoulder, smashing it to pieces on contact. The third man fired on Alacran with the Uzi he held. Dozens of bullets bounced off Alacran's chest, not a single of which pierced the armor he wore. Still, the assault enraged Alacran. The whole confrontation was making him angrier by the second. He hit the man full in the gut as hard as he could, causing blood to spurt from the guy's lips. Alacran had broken something vital in the man. It was quite possible that he'd even murdered the man.
