The domitikan energy that filled the auditorium and the skies directly above took the shape of dragons and winged nightmares and flying serpents. It took the shape of warrior men and women, some as small as an open hand, others taller than pine trees.
They got in the way of everything.
An algrim and Azure warship would face off against each other, for instance, but then a giant, floating silver snake or eagle or thirty foot soldier would get between them enough so that neither of them could get a clear shot.
Both sides of the battle now had a new target: Silveria. Both algrim and Azure warriors fired their rays and missiles in Silveria's direction. Her floating and flying shapes deflected each of them before they got anywhere near where Silveria bathed in the chaos.
"Where is he?" she asked, a smile never leaving her lips. "I can sense him. He's around here somewhere." She paused, then, "You're invisible, aren't you? That's why I can't see you. You humans, it's so easy to read you. Your faces are like...You!"
Silveria looked full into the eyes of a young black woman. The woman stared right back. Silveria saw fear in this young woman's eyes, yes, but mainly what she saw was to-the-root defiance. If this young woman was going to die, she planned to die fighting until her last remaining breath.
"Oh, I like you," Silveria said. "Where'd you come from, darling?"
"My shower," Niki replied.
"You know where my boyfriend is, don't you?"
"Hiding from you, probably."
"Come to me."
Silver hawks and half-formed spirits wrapped themselves around Niki, then dragged her across the floor until Silveria and Niki stood nose to nose. The spirits and the hawks kept a tight grip on Niki so that she could move no part of her body.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Silveria sang out. "Or I'll have my fun little silvery creatures tear your friend to pieces right before your eyes. She is your friend, right? That's what she's doing here? I know what'll be fun. I'll give you to the count of two. One..."
"Okay. Okay," Trevor said. "Fine. Hi." He reappeared.
Now Silveria's beings grabbed Trevor to drag him over to where Silveria stood.
"Hey Gorgeous. Miss me?" she cooed as she pressed her nose against his.
Trevor kept his lips tightly compressed.
"Of course you did." She rubbed her breasts, nipples taut, against his chest. "Ugh! That doesn't feel right. I need your clothes off."
"You did this last year, remember?" Trevor asked.
Silveria's slithering whatevers tore Trevor's clothes away from his body until he stood naked in sneakers before everyone.
"I'm sorry, I just can't help myself," Silveria said. "You have such a nice, big prick. I've seen more than a few in the past year, and your's is...it's not stiff, though. I don't like them unless they're stiff."
"Again, just like last year," Trevor said.
She ran her fingers along his cock. Trevor continued to keep his lips tightly compressed.
"You look like a duck with your lips pressed together like that," Silveria said. "In other words, kiss me you mad, impetuous fool."
She made her tongue slim enough to slip between Trevor's still-compressed lips into his mouth...
and, even then, she continued to talk.
"Doesn't that get you hot?" she murmured. "Me being inside you this way?"
Trevor shook his head. No. No way.
"You know what's coming, don't you?"
Trevor nodded. Yes. Yes, I do.
Her tongue became like an eel. It slithered down Trevor's throat into his stomach, then grew until it filled his stomach.
"I'm going to fill you until you burst," she said. "I've done it with other men, and it's really funny. You all come apart like melons. The other men, though, had stiff...Maybe if I grab it tight it'll..."
And that's when Trevor bit down on the false tooth he had in his mouth, cracking it open.
A technological, micro-entity emerged from the center of the false tooth to attach itself to Silveria's "tongue" or whatever it was.
"Aaarrgghhh!"
The last thing Silveria muttered in that room at that time.
She removed every molecule of her silvery substance from Trevor quick, quick.
She retreated from Trevor step by backward step, her eyes filled with horror. The silver demons and dragons dissolved to flow into her. The air filled with shiny silver particles and clouds of silver and rays of sparkling silver light. The room became bright with the silver that flowed towards, then became a part of, Silveria. To Estelle, Silveria seemed to grow more solid, more substantial, with each passing moment.
The floor cracked under Silveria's feet.
Brock explained it all to Noel as it happened.
"Go get those two," Noel said.
