As Janet drew closer to the surface, hundreds of vines, arms, whatever you want to call them, rose up to snatch at her.

She had no problem blasting through them. She was far more designed for battle than the Valid's van.

The ground rose again. This time it became a mountain range.

As Janet flew through it, veering left, veering right, the mountains shifted.

It all became a bit of a moving maze.

Niki got tired of watching it.

"You think maybe we ought to rise?" she asked Janet. "Get away from Mother Naturia a little? We'll go high, get a lock on Gramps, then swoop down and snatch 'em."

     "As you wish."
