"Silveria's another bitch I thought we'd taken out," Niki said.

Domitika, the dream universe, had been obliterated by The Fours.

All that remained of Domitika now resided within the being that was Silveria.

We're talking about a being conceptually as massive as Technolica and Mother Naturia combined, although, really, how does one physically measure a dream?

     She loved the color silver.

And now the parts of herself she allowed to be three-dimensional floated over Seatrailia like a cloud.

The van rose until it rested on top of that "cloud".

All eight of the adults in the van got a look out the windows at where they found themselves.

Abby held the infant in her arms so that he, too, could look out the window.

"Shit, it looks like heaven," Niki said.

It did, or at least it looked like the heaven Niki used to see in the movies and on TV with the billowing clouds around everyone's feet and everything shiny and bright without any shadows anywhere to darken anything.

"Who are all those silver people?" Alison asked.

"They're not people," Trevor replied. "They're figments of Silveria's imagination given human form."
As he said the name, "Silveria", Alison caught a note of anger and disgust in Trevor's voice, and, yes, perhaps a little fear.

"You have a past with her?" she asked.

     "You could say that."

"The first person Silveria saw when she came to this universe was..." Niki pointed a thumb in Trevor's direction. "And she's been after him ever since."

"After him?" Alison asked. "After to him to...what?"

Niki shrugged. "To torture him. To kill him."

     "Niki, please," Trevor said.

"But mainly to fuck him." Niki pointed out the window at the "people" beyond, "and, as you can see, Silveria likes things spicy."
