Brock went at Hoby Barker. Brock hated combat in open air because he had to concentrate on too many different things at once. He had to use the azure force to stay in the air and keep a defensive force field around himself and still manage to blow a few offensive blasts of his own. The azure force drained rapidly when he had to fight in the air.

Hoby had no such problem. The computer in his armor did most of the work for him. It reacted to Hoby's movements and body language so well, it was like it could read Hoby's mind. He circled Brock like a one man wolf pack in search of vulnerabilities even as he avoided Brock's azure bolts. He swung on the forcefield with all the metallic arms he had. He bounced off the forcefield hard enough to make a BOOM noise, but he still couldn't pierce it. Still, he noticed that it did jar Brock a little. The glowing motherfucker could be got to. That was good to know.
