They hovered two hundred feet in the air. City lights stretched out below them for miles in every direction.

"We're in Seatrailia," Trevor said. "There's Lake Emerald right over there. See?"

"If this is Seatrailia, why does everything feel so different? Right over there, for instance. Didn't a playfield used to be there?"

They saw an office building there now. A screen much larger than your average movie screen filled one side of the building. On the screen, a mechanical man talked about something.

The screen was too far away to hear what the mechanical man said. Still,

     What the fuck?

Two drones rose up to greet them.

From one of them, a voice: "You are not authorized to be here with the technology you possess. You must come with us."

I'm doubting that, Niki thought, but then she thought, fuck, why didn't I tell Trevor to turn invisible once we left that alley? I'm all discombobulated. Why in the fuck did the Azure kick us out?

Four more drones rose to join the first two.

Trevor and Niki hovered back to back.

"You must come with us," one of them said.

There was nowhere Trevor could go in three dimensional space, either up or down or in any direction, without being stopped by a drone.

I got a whole world of I don't like this shit, Niki thought.

"Your name is Trevor Allen Harper," the drone said. "You are wanted for murder. You must come with us."

"Okay, now I really don't like this," Niki said out loud. "Why haven't you said 'bye' yet, Trevor?"

"You're right. Bye. I just can't believe what I'm seeing. Fight?"

"They want me, they're going to have to come get me," Niki replied. "I'm headed west. Keep up."
